Mr. Block has over 20 years of experience as an information security professional, primarily focused on the effects of emerging law on personal privacy at the state, federal and international level.

Mr. Block told the publication that the most important actions businesses can take to support cybersecurity efforts are to educate staff about potential attacks and develop an incident response plan. “Any organization can and likely will be the victim of a cyber intrusion,” he said. “Customers and clients are much more likely to return after a breach if the organization acts in a level-headed, professional and diligent manner.”
