Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the firm’s internet, e-commerce and technology practice group, spoke with E-Commerce Times about President Trump’s recent executive order concerning H-1B visas. According to Trump, visas are currently granted in a lottery system, an approach he says should be modified.
“Large technology companies want more highly educated foreign candidates for H-1B, and many hope that a study would help them,” said Vogel. “Many potential candidates lose out in the current complex lottery system.”
