Tantleff Interviewed on Future of Cybersecurity Regulations
April 3, 2017
National Law Journal
Partner Aaron Tantleff was featured in a National Law Journal Q&A, “Two Lawyers’ Forecast for Cybersecurity Regs? Cloudy,” covering current cybersecurity challenges, how the Trump administration is projected to tackle cybersecurity issues, and conflicts between federal agencies and states as they work to prevent cybercrime.
When asked to compare cybersecurity regulations under the Trump administration to those under the Obama administration, Tantleff explained “…you have to go back a step and realize we are talking about the difference between the Republican and a Democrat. From a Democratic perspective, we are talking centralized regulation, and from a Republican administration we are talking about a state’s rights issue.”
