Sims Appointed to Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Pretrial Practices

Of Counsel and Illinois State Rep. Elgie R. Sims Jr. has been appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Pretrial Practices by Michael J. Madigan, speaker of the Illinois House. The Illinois Supreme Court created the new commission to conduct a comprehensive review of Illinois’ pretrial detention system and provide guidance and recommendations for change.
