Fredericksen Discusses on Fox 5 News the U.S. Park Police’s Use of Deadly Force Following Fender Bender

Fox 5 News
Fox 5 News in Washington DC interviewed partner Scott Fredericksen about whether the U. S. Park Police’s use of deadly force was justified in the fatal shooting last year of a 25-year-old man who was involved in a high-speed chase with law enforcement following a fender bender in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Fredericksen told Fox 5 News that videos of the shoooting were “disturbing.”
“There did not appear to be any threat to the police officers and certainly not to the public,” Fredericksen said. “There was no imminent danger to the police officers. When the car stops for the third time, the police are not in jeopardy, it doesn’t seem, and the car is not trying to run them over and when it pulls away it is at a slow rate of speed away from them and looking like it is going to go into a ditch.”
