Gardere Featured in Dallas Innovates for Patents on Modular Panel System and Support for Reciprocating Pump
Dallas Invents, which tracks inventive activity in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metro area with a weekly look at patents granted by the USPTO, has featured Gardere and two of its clients, Freeman Capital Company and S.P.M. Flow Control, in its weekly listing for patents awarded late January. Intellectual property partners Paul Storm and Michael W. Dubner represented Freeman and S.P.M., respectively.
According to the abstract, S.P.M.’s patent was for “a skid for supporting a reciprocating pump assembly, the reciprocating pump assembly including a power end frame assembly having a pair of end plates and a plurality of middle plates disposed between the end plates.” Freeman’s patent, as written in the abstract, is for “a modular panel system including a plurality of posts where each post includes a front face, a rear face and opposed lateral faces.”
A registered patent attorney, Dubner focuses his practice on all aspects of intellectual property law, particularly emphasizing patent, trademark and copyright procurement, litigation, licensing and counseling. Storm has more than 20 years of national and global experience in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret procurement, counseling and litigation across a wide range of industries.
