Hennessy Comments on New Data Breach Notification Requirements

Senior Counsel Jennifer Hennessy was quoted in a Bloomberg Law News article, “Three States Launch New Data Breach Notification Requirements,” about new notification requirements for companies that experience a data breach.
Hennessy said state regulators can receive complaints about data breaches from individuals, but would “prefer to find out about these from companies themselves.”
