Litchfield Quoted in Chicago Tribune on COVID Vaccinations and Return to Office
Partner John Litchfield was quoted in an article in the Chicago Tribune entitled, “Offices divided? As workers return, some businesses will treat the unvaccinated differently,” which focuses on employees returning to the office as they consider the choice to get the COVID-19 vaccine, and summarizes the options employers have about enforcing safety measures in the workplace.
“Employers may also ask workers to present their vaccination cards as proof of their statuses, because those cards don’t contain any private, protected health information,” John shared. “The cards include only workers’ names and birthdays, which employers already have, and information about when and where they received their shots, and the types of vaccines they got,” he added.
