Ralston, Murray Comment on Lawsuit Over New Postal Vehicles
Partners David Ralston and Frank Murray were quoted in an Associated Press article, “Lawsuit could delay replacement for aging postal fleet,” about a challenge to the fairness of a competitive bidding process for new postal vehicles by a losing bidder that could delay the replacement of the U.S. Postal Service’s aging fleet of delivery vehicles.
Ralston and Murray said there is no deadline for protest decisions, as such challenges are called, but that research suggests the process generally takes about four to five months from filing to decision. If the decision is appealed, they said, it could extend the timetable even further.
