Milliron Authors Article Honoring Law Day

01 April 2021 Jacksonville Daily Record News

Associate Kelly Milliron authored an article in the Jacksonville Daily Record, “Advancing the Rule of Law Now theme of Law Day,” about the importance of the law in our daily lives in honor of Law Day.

Milliron is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Law Day Committee, which will celebrate Law Day on May 1 with a series of virtual and in-person events for the 60th consecutive year.

Law Day encourages citizens to honor the American commitment to the rule of law, Milliron wrote. And this year’s theme, “Advancing the Rule of Law Now,” focuses on the role of law and its importance to society.

“The law is closely woven throughout our lives,” she wrote. “Though it may feel like an unyielding, colossal force, it is within our power to uphold it, challenge it and even change it to safeguard how we define justice in our community.”
