Regulatory Compliance Watch
Foley Partner Margaret Nelson was quoted in the Regulatory Compliance Watch article, “SEC wants admissions, bars, Grewal says,” about private funds and how they will be watched more closely moving forward.
“I think there’s an awareness that private funds are going to be more under the microscope,” said Nelson. “The initial thinking was that, with private funds, you needed to worry less about because they have institutional investors.
