January 2024 Midwest Cyber Security Alliance Meeting | Navigating the AI Landscape: Risks, Rewards, and Operational Efficiencies
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing all business and industry sectors by automating tasks, simplifying research, providing valuable insights, and adding efficiencies to business processes and operations. One of the most exciting advancements in AI is the emergence of generative AI. This form of AI does not just analyze data but creates new data with similar characteristics. It is the technology behind deepfakes, AI-composed music, and AI-written articles and other texts.
Generative AI opens up a world of possibilities, enabling us to create and innovate in ways we never thought possible. However, it also presents new challenges and ethical considerations that we must navigate carefully. As we continue to explore the potential of both generative and “traditional” AI, it is crucial to understand its implications and how to use it responsibly.
Join us on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 — in-person or live-streaming — at the next Midwest Cyber Security Alliance meeting, where sponsor and host Foley & Lardner LLP will give you the legal and business perspectives on these issues. Know the basics of the latest AI technology. Understand the risks. Identify steps to take and changes to make to existing processes to leverage this powerful technology.
