Partner Jonathan Israel was quoted in Crain’s Chicago Business on January 30, 2014 in an article titled, “How would college-athlete ‘employees’ actually work?” The article discusses the move made by former Northwestern University quarterback Kain Colter and the NU football team to petition for standing to unionize. Israel was quoted saying, “You could see those arguments starting to unravel in a lot of different directions.”
