Public Affairs Director Joe Leibham is quoted in an Urban Milwaukee article, “Historic Preservation Tax Credits Survive,” about legislative efforts to increase Wisconsin’s $500,000 cap on tax credits for historic preservation projects.
Leibman said legislation that would remove or increase the $500,000 cap is expected to be introduced in the spring. He also noted that Rich Zipperer, chief of staff to Gov. Scott Walker, has offered “conceptual support” for a proposal that would raise the cap to $3.5 million per project.
