Foley Senior Counsel J. Steven Rutt, Vice Chair of the Nanotechnology Industry Team will be speaking at the Ontario Society for Excellence in Technology Transfer’s (OnSETT) Professional Development meeting being held at the MaRS Discovery District, Collaboration Center in Toronto on October 11, 2007. The session is titled, “Navigating the Intellectual Property Minefield.”
The meeting’s focus is to develop an understanding of the major issues and points that should be considered by a technology transfer professional when presented with an idea or invention in the nanotechnology space from their academic colleagues. Topics will also include investor considerations, regulatory requirements, licensing strategies and much more.
