Angel Investing – An Overview

On Thursday, October 25, Foley Orlando attorney Trevor Brewer and Washington, D.C. attorney Steve Rutt served as panelists in a one-day workshop called "Angel Investing - An Overview” in Winter Park, Florida.

Brewer participated in “Angel Portfolio Strategy,” “Structuring the Deal” and “The Post Investment Relationship.” Rutt spoke about “Due Diligence” and participated in a case discussion about Axado Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

The seminar took place at Rollins College - Crummer School of Business and was sponsored by Foley, University of Central Florida - Venture Lab and Winter Park Angels.

Brewer is senior counsel in Foley's Tax & Individual Planning, Tax & Employee Benefits, and Estates & Trusts Practices and Rutt is senior counsel and vice-chairman of the Nanotechnology Industry Team as well as a member of the Chemical & Pharmaceutical Practice.
