Lee Quoted on Cross-Border Reputations

Foley Partner Zhu Lee was quoted in an article titled “Cashing in on a Rep: Buyers are discovering that reputation does matter even when all things aren't equal” in the November 1, 2008 issue of Mergers & Acquisitions Journal. Lee offered her insight into the role that reputation plays in cross-border deals between U.S. and Chinese companies, adding that a U.S. company may be more willing to buy a well reputed Chinese company due to a lack of reliable information and credible bookkeeping found domestically.
