Foley Partner Jay Rothman is quoted in an article titled “Dealmakers on business psychology and the deal economy” in the November 12, 2008 issue of The Deal. Rothman offers his insight into pricing expectations in family-owned businesses, adding that family-owned businesses are more unwilling to bring down prices because business psychology has not met with market conditions.
