Foley partner and chair of the Securities, Commodities & Exchange Regulation Practice George Simon is quoted in an article titled “Many ETFs Expected to Close This Year in Tough Climate” in the February 10, 2009 issue of American Banker. Simon provides his insight into the declining demand for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the midst of the down economy, adding that any ETF family that does not have several hundred million dollars in assets is in danger.
