Of Counsel John Murphy was quoted in an article that appeared in the Daily Business Review on January 30, 2013 titled “Attorney works first multinational deal with Burger King in Central America.” Murphy discussed his negotiation of a first-of-its-kind master franchise and joint venture deal that placed one of his commercial clients in charge of franchised Burger King restaurants and the development of new ones throughout Central America. He said the deal will result in one region-wide entity that will negotiate all procurement agreements, ensuring that Burger King franchisee BEBOCA Ltd. acquires the best supply deals across the region.
