Partner Carrie Hoffman Chimes in on Debate Over Former Employee's Airfare

The Los Angeles Times spoke with Gardere Labor and Employment Partner Carrie B. Hoffman about a company's chances of transferring or receiving a refund for a former employee's prepaid $1,200 airline ticket. "I guess you could claim some sort of fraud, but it's likely going to cost you more than the value of the ticket," Ms. Hoffman said.
