Of counsel Mark Neuberger was quoted in an article in the Imperial Valley News, “Non-union workers don’t have to pay fees to unions,” about the impact of the Supreme Court’s June decision banning public sector unions from collecting fees from non-union workers.
Neuberger called the decision a “stunning blow” to public sector unions. “The Janus decision reinforces a right guaranteed by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, that people should be able to decide which organizations they want to join (and fund) and which they don’t,” he said.
