Lynn Gandhi Quoted in National Press on Remote Work
January 27, 2022
The Washington Post
Partner Lynn Gandhi was quoted in an article published in The Washington Post titled “Thinking of permanently ditching the office? Here’s what to consider before going fully remote,” which outlines the financial and legal considerations for remote work.
Commenting on the potential change for pay and taxes, Gandhi said: “Employees should make sure their employers know where they’re working so that the company can withhold the correct estimated tax payments from their paychecks. If not, employees could be responsible for paying the quarterly payment that their employers usually handle. Don’t assume your employer or your payroll processing system will get it right. This is on the employee to understand.”
