James McFall Joins Iconic Athletes and Leaders in Launch of Stanford Football Alumni United
Foley & Lardner LLP is proud to announce that partner James Carlos McFall is a founding member of Stanford Football Alumni United (SFAU), a newly formed coalition of former players and leaders committed to supporting Stanford Football’s continued growth and national competitiveness.
Launched in collaboration with prominent alumni including Christian McCaffrey, John Lynch, and Richard Sherman, SFAU aims to strengthen the university’s football program through mentorship, career development, and alumni engagement. The group will work in concert with Stanford Football leadership, including general manager Andrew Luck, interim head coach Frank Reich, and the Stanford Athletic Department.
McFall, a Stanford alum and former Stanford football player, is a seasoned trial lawyer and counselor to corporate, high-profile, and high net-worth clients in the financial, technology, media, sports, and entertainment industries. He brings unique insight to SFAU through his work with Foley’s Sports & Entertainment Group, particularly as the era of Name, Image, and Likeness continues to reshape both the legal and business landscapes of college athletics.
