Supply Chain Dive
Foley & Lardner LLP Partner Vanessa Miller was featured in the article, “‘One thing after another’: More disruption looms over semiconductor market,” in Supply Chain Dive discussing the potential for supply chain issues in the semiconductor industry to worsen due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, and what the implications are for automakers.
The disruption in the production of neon and argon has led semiconductor stock levels to drop significantly amid record demand from customers. “It’s a new headache every day that they’re dealing with,” Miller said in reference to automakers. As a result, tens of thousands of nearly finished cars are sitting on lots just waiting for chips.
