S. Nicole Burt is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, where she is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.
In 2016, Ms. Burt was a summer associate with Foley, providing support in the area of litigation.
Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Burt worked in the field of communications as a director/technical director of a local NBC-affiliate.
Ms. Burt received her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2017), where she was the communications editor of the Florida Law Review. She received book awards in appellate advocacy, legal research and advanced legal research. She is also a member of the University of Florida Chapter of the Order of the Coif.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in communications, with a minor in marketing, from the University of West Florida (B.A., cum laude, 2010).
Ms. Burt is the author of the published note, “When Girls Play With G.I. Joes and Boys Play With Barbies: The Path to Gender Reassignment in Minors,” The Florida Law Review (2016).
Ms. Burt is admitted to practice in Florida.
