Nicole Burt is a construction and commercial business litigation attorney, representing clients, ranging from general contractors and developers to corporate counsel for mid- to high-level business entities, in disputes regarding claims for breach of contract, negligence, defense and indemnity, FDUTPA, warranties, and other statutory, tort, and contract claim. Nicole secures favorable results by providing excellent litigation strategy and guidance. She is an associate in the firm’s Construction Practice and Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Groups.

Nicole works with a broad array of clients in the construction and corporate business industries, most notably representing leading national construction firms, insurance companies, and product manufacturers. Her work focuses on defending against, and prosecuting, construction defect litigation and a wide variety of commercial business litigation issues.

As a former member of a local news affiliate, Nicole understands that presentation and optics are central to presenting her clients’ voices to the related audiences and positioning those voices to be well-received. She is well known for being a zealous advocate for her clients and presents practical recommendations that are accepted and effective.

Nicole assists and guides clients through the Chapter 558 process, and focuses on resolving claims through alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. Her depth of experience in this area allows her to provide clients with critical, tailored, and business-oriented solutions, that often allow clients to avoid litigation and efficiently resolve various claims that would otherwise impede client-focused business strategies.
