Taryn Trusty applies her background in mechanical engineering, mathematics, financial engineering, and financial risk as a member of the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice Group and Manufacturing Sector. She is also co-chair of the Technology in Fashion Group in the Fashion, Apparel & Beauty Industry Team.

Her intellectual property practice focuses on patent prosecution, as well as freedom-to-operate and patent clearance work. Before joining Foley, Taryn was an honors scholar and a research fellow at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she also completed the IP Certificate program. She worked at Foley as a summer associate during both summers of law school.
