Kelsey Finn is an associate and Litigation attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP. Kelsey is based in the Los Angeles office where she is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Kelsey clerked for United States District Court Judge Dean D. Pregerson in the Central District of California. There, Kelsey prepared recommendations to the Judge regarding the resolution of issues and motions, drafted orders, prepared memorandums and reviewed pleadings, petitions, motions, and other filings. She also supervised student externs and provided feedback on written work.
Additionally, Kelsey spent time as a Labor & Employment associate where she advised corporate employers regarding traditional labor disputes.

Foley Secures Dismissal for KLN Enterprises in False Advertising Class Action
Foley & Lardner LLP successfully represented KLN Enterprises, Inc. in the complete dismissal of a proposed class action in California federal court. The lawsuit alleged that KLN Enterprises falsely advertised its Wiley Wallaby licorice as “naturally flavored” because the product included malic acid as an ingredient, which the plaintiff claimed was artificial.

Ninth Circuit: Additional Information on Back of Packaging can Defeat Deceptive Labelling Claim
On June 9, 2023, the Ninth Circuit in McGinity v. The Procter & Gamble Company, No. 22-15080 (9th Cir. 2023) held that a food manufacturer could rely on an ingredients list panel located on the back of the challenged product packaging to determine whether an “ambiguous” phrase on the front label was misleading or deceptive.
