Foley Partner Michael G. Bailey hosted Conducting an Internal Audit of Tax-Exempt Bond Compliance, the third session in a five part series, Creating An Effective Post-Bond Issuance Tax Compliance Program. This session provided a practical guide for conducting a “self-audit” of bond issues with the applicable federal tax requirements, including a consideration of different approaches and practical problems that may arise.
The Creating An Effective Post-Bond Issuance Tax Compliance Program web conference series featured post-issuance tax-exempt bond compliance in light of the Internal Revenue Service’s recent enforcement initiatives focused on nonprofit organizations.
