This program is designed to provide an overview of the technology used in adult and embryonic stem cell research and how regulations, policies, and individual rights intersect with that technology. The teleconference will address the issues and will have a special focus on the players and policies that continue to shape stem cell research including: the U.S. Congress, California’s Proposal 71, and various state-level initiatives.
