What Introduction to Adult and Embryonic Stem Cell Research

Foley Partner Antoinette F. Konski will be moderating a panel on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET via teleconference and live audio webcast – What Introduction to Adult and Embryonic Stem Cell Research: The Intersection of Law and Science – sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Science and Technology Law, Health Law Section, Section of Intellectual Property Law, and the ABA Center for Continuing Legal Education.

This program is designed to provide an overview of the technology used in adult and embryonic stem cell research and how regulations, policies, and individual rights intersect with that technology. The teleconference will address the issues and will have a special focus on the players and policies that continue to shape stem cell research including: the U.S. Congress, California’s Proposal 71, and various state-level initiatives.
