Foley Partner Daniel Bachrach and Associate Kristina Bellock authored an article that appeared in the August 2011 issue of Developments titled “Partial Termination—Pathway for Timeshare?” The authors discuss changes to Florida law which provide a partial termination option for developers of distressed properties. They state that the changes could provide financial relief to strained association budgets and offer increased revenue under shared facilities easements or other cross-use agreements between whole-ownership and timeshare components.
