Benjamin I. Bassoff



Benjamin Bassoff is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Bassoff served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John T. Nixon of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and to the Honorable Brian J. Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Bassoff was a summer associate with Foley in 2015, where he researched and drafted motions and settlement agreements regarding a range of state and federal legal issues, including labor and employment law, bankruptcy, and contracts.


Mr. Bassoff earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School (J.D., 2016), where he was captain of the Mock Trial Travel Team and served as a research assistant to Professor Edward K. Cheng. He received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from New York University (B.A., 2011).


Mr. Bassoff is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
