Foley of counsel Philip Kiko was quoted in an article that appeared on IP Law360 on April 30, 2009 titled “House Panel Balks At Changes To Patent Bill.” Kiko discusses the House committee’s concerns over changes to the damages provision in patent reform legislation approved by the Senate. He notes that even though the Senate committee passed the bill, the House committee showed that the process of putting together patent reform legislation is far from over.
