Law360 covered Wilcox Swartzwelder & Co. LLC's, a Texas investment banking firm, accusation that Rimrock Midstream LLC tried to dodge a multimillion-dollar success fee owed after Rimrock partnered with private equity firm Energy Capital Partners in a $160 million deal. Partner Craig B. Florence told Law360 Thursday the investment firm hadn't been in contact with Rimrock before filing suit, and said there's potential to settle the dispute without going to trial. "It's kind of case that you'd think is a candidate for an early resolution," he said.
Wilcox Swartzwelder is represented by Gardere Attorneys Craig B. Florence, Randy D. Gordon and Darcie A. Thompson.
