Foley & Lardner represented Houston-based John M. Floyd & Associates, Inc. in connection with its sale to the private equity sponsor, Hammond Kennedy Whitney & Company, Inc.
JFMA serves more than 350 regional/community bank and credit union customers with its core overdraft privilege program and also provides vendor contract negotiation services. The company uses proprietary software and ongoing consulting to confirm compliance and identify areas of improvement with client overdraft programs. The deal will allow HKW continued growth in its Tech-Enabled Business Services subsector.
The deal, which was led by Houston partner Eric Blumrosen, closed on November 13, 2019. The Foley team also included partners Eunice Song, James Howard, Jessica Mason, Greg Neppl, Michael Abbott, Greg Meeks, Terrell Miller; Of Counsel Peter Vogel; and Associates George Khalaf and Eun Sung Lim
