Kathleen Downes is a member of the Fund Formation & Investment Management Group in the Business Law Department. Kathleen started her career with Foley as a Summer Associate. While in law school, Kathleen interned for the Boston Red Sox supporting the legal team with contracts, research, and project management. She updated agreements for sponsorship relationships, season tickets, copyright licensing, concerts, and other issues related to the team, Fenway Park, NESN, and other FSG entities.

Kathleen also has experience as a Public Policy Intern for a Fortune 500 company. She researched and drafted legislative summaries of federal and state-level efforts related to consumer protection, trade, tax, privacy, intermediary liability, and supply chain regulations. Prior to law school, Kathleen was a Government Relations Research Assistant focused on areas of technology policy including privacy, intermediary liability, anti-counterfeiting, and regulatory activity by Congress and government agencies.
