Associate

Molly Perillo represents real estate owners, lenders, investors, developers, and tenants on all facets of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, development, financing, and leasing. She regularly counsels clients through the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, leases and related documents across a variety of asset classes, including medical office, industrial, residential community development and multi-family properties.  She represents both lenders and owners in connection with financings secured by real property, in particular national health care lenders with a focus on skilled nursing and assisted living facility loans, as well as multi-family and industrial owners and developers.

She also advises clients on the real estate aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions. In addition to her general real estate practice, she has significant experience in the real estate aspects of wind, solar, battery storage, hydro, and other energy projects, including acquisition, development, and financing matters.

Representative Experience

  • Represents commercial lender regarding loans totaling over $200m secured by nursing care and assisted living facilities.
  • Represents developer of residential and mixed-use communities on projects throughout Florida.
  • Represents nonprofit owner in the acquisition of multiple affordable multi-family housing projects throughout the Midwest, valued at over $50m.
  • Represents a national healthcare system on the acquisition and disposition of various classes of real estate throughout the country.
  • Represented a private investor on acquisitions of medical office properties throughout the country.
  • Represented Seller/Tenant in a sale leaseback transaction involving 27 properties across four states for a purchase price of approximately $115m.
  • Represented a major utility holding company on real estate matters in connection with its acquisition, pursuant to a build transfer agreement, of a 100 MW solar energy project valued at over $110m.
