Associate

Eric Williams is a litigation associate in the firm’s Houston office. He is a member of the Energy Litigation and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Groups. He began his career with Foley as a summer associate in 2020 and 2021.

Eric focuses his practice on a broad range of complex commercial and energy litigation disputes. He represents clients from various industries, including renewable energy, oilfield service, exploration and production, construction, healthcare, and software and technology. He represents clients in both state and federal courts, as well as domestic arbitrations.

During law school, Eric served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to the Honorable Charles R. Eskridge III, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Eric also served as the Editor in Chief of the South Texas Law Review.

Before joining Foley, Eric gained over a decade of sales and business development experience working for various Fortune 500 sales organizations. More recently, Eric directed sales and marketing efforts as an equity partner in a Texas-based restaurant franchisee group. He brings to Foley an extensive background in business administration with a concentration in marketing and international business.
