Chelsea Hilliard Recognized in D Magazine’s 2023 Best Lawyers Under 40
Foley & Lardner LLP Senior Counsel Chelsea Hilliard has been named to D Magazine’s 2023 Best Lawyers Under 40 list. This is the sixth consecutive year that Hilliard has received this honor.
D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 recognizes outstanding young lawyers in the North Texas area. The listing is based on a comprehensive selection process that starts with peer nominations. A panel of top local attorneys then evaluate the tabulated list and works with the editorial staff to select the finalists.
Hilliard is a securities and complex commercial trial lawyer based out of Foley’s Dallas office. An experienced litigator, Hilliard focuses her practice on high-stakes business disputes in a wide range of industries and regions. She has particular experience in securities litigation, including representing hedge funds, former shareholders, brokers, and other financial-sector clients in investor and counter-party disputes. Hilliard has represented clients in matters involving breaches of contract, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, and shareholder disputes, among an array of other legal issues. She is also a member in the firms Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) Team.
