Attorneys Erin Toomey and Anna Ross published a Thomson Reuters Practical Law practice note, “Government Contracts: Small Business Concerns,” which ran on April 21, 2017. The practice note explains how the Small Business Administration works with federal agencies to meet the government’s goals for small business concerns (SBCs). Toomey and Ross discuss requirements under the Small Business Act; today’s main SBCs; regulations, advantages and different components associated with SBCs; requirements for large businesses utilizing SBCs; and compliance between the two.
