Foley & Lardner LLP has advised Software AG, a leading provider of data management solutions, on its $584 million (EUR 524 million) cross-border acquisition of StreamSets, Inc. by way of a reverse triangular merger.
As an enterprise-grade supplier of data integration services, StreamSets will augment Software AG’s ability to collect, consolidate, and move data between on-premises applications, data streams, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, legacy data storage, and cloud data platforms. The combined hybrid Integration-Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) offering will deliver consolidated, conformed, and continuous data to smart applications and the modern connected enterprise.
