Foley Wins at M&A Atlas Awards

Foley was recognized with three awards at Global M&A Network’s M&A Atlas Awards/Americas Middle Market Awards. The awards reception was held October 30th at the Harvard Club in New York. Foley was recognized for the following deals:

1. Food & Beverage Deal of the Year: Snyder’s-Lance acquisition of Baptista’s Bakery (winners)
2. South America Corporate Deal of the Year: Promerica Financial Corporation majority acquisition of Banco de la Produccion. (Winner’s circle as legal advisor to Produbanco)
3. Top 50: North America M&A Lawyers: Selig D. Sacks
4. Top 50: South America Dealmakers: Francisco J. Cerezo 

Attorney Selig Sacks was included in the Top 50 North America M&A Lawyers list for the second year in a row. According to Sacks, “in the past 12- months Foley has been involved in a number of high profile M&A transactions both domestically and Cross-Border. In the Food & Beverage sector alone, in addition to Snyder’s-Lance acquisition of Baptista’s Bakery, the sale of AgFeed’s U.S. and China businesses has received recognition in the form of 6 awards from 4 prestigious international organizations, including Turnaround Management Association’s Large Deal of the Year. And the Banco de la Produccion sale is an example of our Latin American team’s ongoing involvement in M&A in the region.”
