Eileen Ridley Honored with Legal Momentum’s Women of Achievement Award
Foley & Lardner LLP Partner Eileen Ridley has received the Women of Achievement Award from Legal Momentum, the nation’s first and oldest legal defense and education fund whose mission is to help women break barriers and achieve their dreams.
Each year, Legal Momentum honors groundbreaking women in the Bay Area who have demonstrated a commitment to nurturing and empowering the next generation of leaders in law, business, and public service with their Women of Achievement Award.
Ridley is a litigation lawyer with Foley and serves as the firm’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Partner, a role in which she is a catalyst for and leader in carrying out Foley’s commitment to diversity. A former member of the firm’s national Management Committee, Ridley is vice chair of Foley’s Litigation Department and co-chairs the firm’s Privacy, Security & Information Management Practice. Her practice focuses on handling complex commercial matters for a variety of industries including the technology, oil and gas, telecommunications, construction, insurance, and health care industries. Ridley’s work has involved anti-trust and class actions (including multi-district and joint jurisdiction actions), unfair competition, trade secret and copyright matters, product liability claims, environmental claims (including CERCLA and CEQA), insurance coverage litigation, ERISA litigation, commercial disputes, and employment issues.
Ridley was honored as this year’s award recipient at a dinner ceremony in San Francisco.
