Andrew W. Kurzon is a partner and corporate lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. His practice focuses on all stages and types of private investment fund formations, including venture capital, growth equity, life sciences, infrastructure, buyout, fund-of-funds and non-traditional funds. He is experienced in handling various types of private equity transactions such as co-investments and secondary transactions. He also provides counsel on general corporate, regulatory, securities law and fund maintenance. Andrew represents both private investment funds and sources of capital (i.e., limited partners).
In addition, Andrew has experience with structuring and drafting various management company agreements and general partner agreements, as well as advising clients on internal general partner and management company matters.
Andrew has been selected for inclusion in the 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2014 Massachusetts Super Lawyers–Rising Stars® editions in the area of business/corporate, and recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in the practice area of private equity: fund formation (2021).
Andrew earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School (2000) and his B.A. in economics from Boston College (1997).
