Gardere Attorney Teresa Lechner-Fish presented “Trademark Basics: What Are Trademarks? How Should They Be Used? And How Can They Be Protected?” at the Katy Bar Association’s monthly meeting.
In her presentation, Ms. Lechner-Fish identified examples of service marks, trademarks and trade names, as well as provided guidance on how trademarks should be used to identify goods and services. Suggestions on how trademarks can be protected in the marketplace were also discussed.
