Foley Supports #GivingTuesday as Primary Legal Counsel in Record-Breaking Year

Foley is proud to serve as primary legal counsel for #GivingTuesday, an annual day of charitable giving held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which saw record-breaking global participation yesterday and the highest number of online donations since its inception in 2012.

In addition to providing trademark, branding and prosecution support to develop the #GivingTuesday brand and logo, the Foley team has handled third party agreements and licensing issues; copyright, website and privacy issues; sweepstakes and contests; grant programs; foreign trademark issues and usage guidelines, among other work.
