44th Annual Estate Planning Update 2023

Foley & Lardner LLP partners Jason Kohout, Joseph Higgins, and Wes Taylor served as panelists at the State Bar of Wisconsin’s 44th Annual Estate Planning Update. During their segment, Higgins and Taylor provided recent developments in estate planning including updates on federal case law, federal legislation, Wisconsin case law, and Wisconsin legislation.  During the Charitable Gifts with Appreciated Property segment, Kohout discussed recent court cases relating to the “assignment of income” doctrine.
