Natalie Martinez represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, retaliation, and theft of trade secrets claims. She supports clients through all phases of litigation by conducting in‑depth legal research, developing strategic arguments, and preparing persuasive briefings to advance client objectives.

Natalie’s experience includes drafting and contributing to dispositive and pre‑trial motions, managing discovery, and analyzing factual and legal issues that shape case strategy. She brings a practical, detail‑driven approach to each matter, ensuring that clients are well‑positioned at every stage of the litigation process.

Before joining Foley, Natalie practiced at a national law firm where she handled commercial, tort, labor and employment, and insurance coverage and defense litigation. She previously served as a summer associate in a litigation practice group and gained additional courtroom insight as a law clerk in a Harris County Civil District Court. Prior to law school, Natalie worked in the Texas Senate as a Legislative Correspondent, experience that strengthened her ability to interpret statutory frameworks and navigate complex regulatory environments.

While attending the University of Houston Law Center, Natalie served as General Administrative Editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Her writing on interstate transmission line regulation, “A ‘Black Start’ for Electricity Regulation: A Right-of-Way for Interstate Transmission Lines,” was published by the Law Center’s Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Insights.
