Partner Margaret Nelson was quoted in a Law360 article, “SEC Enforcer’s Exit Won’t Sour Gensler On BigLaw Hires,” about the unexpected resignation of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Enforcement Division Director Alex Oh one week after taking the job.
Nelson said it remains to be seen whether SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, in choosing Oh’s successor, will try to ward off the types of criticism Oh received for not having “enough government experience to undo her years of defending large corporations.”
