Senior Counsel Claire Marblestone was quoted in an HCPro article, “Briefings on HIPAA,” about significant changes in HIPAA compliance during the past decade.
Marblestone called the HIPAA Omnibus Rule of 2013, which enacted many of the HITECH Act safeguards, one of the “undisputable key developments” of the past 10 years. “It was kind of a seminal moment for a lot of HIPAA enforcement,” she said.
